While my mom stayed with us in the weeks following her surgery, Dad would come over in the evenings after work and have dinner with us and visit. Richard commented one day that it was kind of like living in Old Testament times when you'd have meals with the entire family every day (since I'm an only child, mom+dad="entire family"!). And for the record, that wasn't a negative comment on his part; He actually really enjoyed it! :o)
Here are a couple of shots of the "entire family" enjoying the Super Bowl. As you can see, the girls were less into it in the beginning (Mama was knitting and I was playing solitaire on my PDA).
As the game progressed though, even the girls were into it. It turned out to be a really great game!

I am not much a football fan myself. I was getting the kids ready for bed and called James up to pray for them the last 30 seconds of the game. Boy oh Boy-that did not make him happy!! Needless to say about 5 minutes later he appeared!
