The biannual (is that right? anyway, it comes twice a year) consignment sale is coming to our area soon and I got such great deals last time, so I'd like to take advantage this time as well. So, I'm wondering, what were your must-haves for your baby between about 8 to 14 months?
What toys?
What kinds of clothes? (Christy, I remember you mentioning certain things to get/not get during the crawling stage...)
Any other useful items?
For the sake of friends who are expecting, I'm going to set up a post for newborn-7 months as well. :o)

I know these are controversial, but Grace really loved pushing around her little walker toy. It helped her get her balance and she felt like such a "big girl" being able to walk behind it.
She also liked standing up against her little "Leap Frog" table that had buttons to push, colors to pull, etc. I think they recently came out with one that has Spanish words too. You might not be able to find that at a consignment store, though???
Have fun! Can't wait to hear what you get for little Evie!

The leap frog table or really any activity table is great. Katherine loves pushing her walker as well. I think the controversial ones are more the ones that the baby sites in not pushes. As far as clothes, get pants, not skirts from now until she is walking. The skirts reall tangle up when learning to walk and the pants protect those knees.
