Summer Camp Highlights, part 1

***Ok, can I just say that my "Published Post" looks NOTHING like the preview looked. Hopefully you can read it and tell what photo goes with what 'cuz if I spend another minute fiddling with this post, I'm throwing the computer screen out the window. Jen's having a hissy fit...not pretty! LOL! (sort of)...Sigh...

We took our annual trek to Colorado for Summer Camp with our church. Richard's mom ("Mother") got to join us. Here are a few highlights (so hard to narrow down the pics!). I'm sure I'll have to do several installments.

The PACKED car:

A meal in a very unfriendly, FREEZING, Denny's on the way to camp. We were all very cold (we hadn't gotten into any nice mountainous cool weather yet, their A/C was just going ballistic) and Evie was in a tank top, so Mother put her blanket around her, but Evie soon took it off. She's our little "hot box." I loved this pic. She just looks really cute and happy and I remember I was frustrated and grumpy because it was so cold and the service was so bad.

They had team building games to help us bond with our small groups. Here members of another group are trying to successfully launch a water balloon into a sheet (held by their other team members).

Here I am fishing for marbles with my toes with Evie on my back--nice face!

Throwing Cheetos at Connor's head (The one game that our team won!--Woo hoo!) :o)
