Survey

This is one of those blog "tagging" surveys that I saw on Jen's blog, but I'm not bothering with the tagging part:

10 years ago: I had started my first full year as a bilingual Kindergarten teacher, had started going to Northwest Bible, but was pretty lonely bc I still didn't know many people at my new church. It was around this time that I met Richard for the first time, but I didn't like him that much (I remember him standing with our friend, Han, in the back of the church with his arms folded looking around, and I thought he was just scoping for chicks so I was steering clear!) :o)

Things on my to-do list today:
*Finish preparing to lead book club discussion
*Clean up the house (ALWAYS on my list) :oP
*Finish pricing items for a garage sale
*Put away items I don't use much in the kitchen (we are Spring cleaning around here; can you tell?)
*Make a dip for tomorrow night's book club

Three of my bad habits:
1. Procrasination! (which is why I'm even posting this right now when I have the aforementioned to do list)

2. Biting and picking the skin around my nails...a bad habit I've had since I was a kid. I even make my thumbs bleed sometimes! It's disgusting.

3. Jumping to conclusions too quickly

Five jobs I have had:
1. babysitter
2. worked at my old church's child development center
3. Kindergarten teacher
4. 4th grade teacher

(all my jobs have been about kids!)

5 things people don't know about me:
1. I have a dent in my head (actually, I use that all the time when asked that question, so now everyone probably already knows that).

2. The song that goes: "I believe in miracles! You sexy thing, you sexy thing." For years I thought it said "I believe in uncle. You sexy thing..." I thought that was kind of weird lyrics.

3. Knock on wood: I have never had a cavity.

4. In high school I would make up a silly "question of the day" and write it on the board before class every day for AP History (or was it Economics?), something like "If a hippo had a favorite ice cream flavor, what would it be?" I was a spaz.

5. I'm an absolutely horrible skier. I've tried and I just suck at it. I wish I could do it cuz Richard loves it, but it's misery. Oh well.
