This is out of order but as promised here's a short version of the birth of Evie:
1. Water broke at 2:00 AM Christmas Eve. Went to hospital.
2. Wanted to have an unmedicated birth (no epidural)...was able to for 9 hours, but Evie's heartrate started dropping after contractions so we ended up having to have a c-section.
3. Evie was born at 1:37 PM Christmas Eve. She weighed 7 pounds, 9 ounces and was 20 inches long.
4. On Christmas we found out that she was breathing too fast so she had to stay in the nursery, and later the special care nursery.
5. We finally got to take her home on the following Saturday (Dec. 30th).
There it is, short and sweet for all the guys out there! ;o)

Yeah Jen. I am so glad you all are writing a blog. They are so fun. I love reading my friends blogs and I love going back and looking at mine. It will help a lot whenever I get to her scrapbook to already have so much journaling done.
