I Couldn't Help Myself

Richard is in DC on business again :o( so I'm always a little blue when he's gone. Tonight, after putting Evie to bed, I went to catch up on blogs and could hear her talking and yelling to herself (happy yells). She finally settled down so I snuck back into her room to make sure she hadn't wiggled herself into a weird position in the crib before drifting off to sleep. Well, in the dim light I saw movement, and then two little eyes peeping up at me. I couldn't help myself; I snatched that little girl up and hugged her and rocked her and kissed her like crazy. She is such a precious doll to me and I am so thankful to the Lord for her!
